Since 1913, Delta Sigma Theta has been a public service organization that openly confronts the challenges of African Americans and, hence, all Americans. Through the years, programs addressing education, health, international development, and strengthening of the African American family have been at the forefront of Delta’s mission. The members of the Gadsden County Florida Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are committed to serving Gadsden County Florida and surrounding communities by assisting in addressing various situations which challenge our community and society as a whole. There is a definite social and economic need to address, as well as, to assist with ending crime especially in our communities. There is also a need to explore ways to prevent economic difficulties. Public Service is an important part of our Sorority’s focus and 5 Point Programmatic Thrust of: Economic Development, Physical and Mental Health, Educational Development, Political Awareness and Involvement, and International Awareness and Involvement.
We are extremely grateful to our supporters throughout the community who assist us in our efforts. Thank you to our, parents, friends, family, businesses, public servants and all that stand at our side as we continue to serve the public.
